Since 1919, CLOOS is one of the leading companies in welding technology. The CLOOS welding power sources are available for a multitude of welding processes. With the QIROX robots, positioners and special purpose machines CLOOS develops and manufactures automated welding systems meeting the specific requirements of the customers. Our special strength is the widely spread competence. Because CLOOS supplies everything from a single source.
Eng. Carl Cloos founds the company in Siegen-Weidenau and starts to manufacture acetylene gas generators and oxyacetylene welding torches.
Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik relocates the headquarters to Haiger. Construction of the historical production hall 1.
CLOOS presents a new production line, the welding systems for stick electrodes.
Launch of the CO2 shielded gas welding machine by eng. Erwin Cloos. First welding with endless wire electrode.

As employee in the CLOOS application technology department Dietmar Klein has many years of expertise and realises extensive test welding and examinations directly at the component. To offer the best welding solutions for the customers and to continue the development of the welding processes, he and his colleagues weld the most different components together every day.
